My name is Marta, but I have been Tona since I was very young. I was born in Vilafranca del Penedès where I still live. I have always been passionate about art, and I have a special fascination for animals, very often a source of inspiration for my creations.

I have a degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia from ESI (School of Computer Systems). During my career of more than 15 years of experience I have worked carrying out tasks of graphic design, interactive animation and / or illustration for different companies and entities, and a few years ago I created my small brand " tonadisseny " under which I carry out personal projects and commissions.

I also like to convey values or denounce through my drawings in order to visualize injustices or claim rights and freedoms by contributing in the best way I can to try to improve the things I deem appropriate.

Aside from that, music is also another important facet of my life. I started learning the violin as an adult, and this has naturally influenced my work as well, such as illustrating the didactic method in the form of a story “ The tree of music ”, discovering so, in children’s literature a genre that I’m happy to work with and that has led me to the publication of a second story “ Me, Chloe ” and there aren’t two without three, so I’m already working with the third..!
